Another Duck Double-Up... Darlington Stock and Pageland Modified Wins!

After bowing out of eliminations on Saturday, the Duck Tape Volare loaded up and hit another track, just 40 miles up the road...

- Saturday night's win marked the 2nd straight win at Pageland. (last win was 6/19 with the Duck Tape Turismo)

- Duck Tape cars have won 8 of the last 14 appearances at Pageland Dragway

- The Duck Tape Volare has won 5 of the last 8 appearances at Darlington Dragway

- Michael Beard locked up the IHRA Division 2 Stock Championship, his 18th career championship title

- Beard has qualified for the IHRA Tournament of Champions and IHRA Summit All-Stars race to be held at the IHRA World Finals in Virginia in October, as well as the 2011 Moser Axle Mania Shootout.

Friends of Duck Tape Racing...

- Johnny Fisher, who allowed Beard to campaign his Dodge Mirada in Duck Tape livery throughout the 2008 season, drove the Mirada to the Stock win on Saturday at Darlington, and made it to the semifinals on Sunday.

- Terry Knott, who owns the Dart Sport that Beard drove to the 2003 IHRA Stock World Championship, has led the Sportsman points in the Chrysler Classic series for much of the 2010 season. He's still in the Top 3, with one race remaining!
