Final Two Weeks of Racing Update

Saturday, November 20, 2010
Stock/Super Stock Combo (1/4-mile)
Fayetteville Motorsports Park, Fayetteville, NC
In a field of 51 cars, the Duck Tape Turismo made it down to the final three, earning semi-finalist honors, and recording a career-best 15.253 E.T in the quarter-mile (-1.047 seconds under the IHRA FF/SA index.)

Sat-Sun, November 27-28, 2010
Footbrake Nationals
Piedmont Dragway, Greensboro, NC
Saturday, the Duck Tape Turismo advanced to the 5th round of eliminations, where only 17 of the 103 entrants remained standing. I lost that round to eventual winner Jason Phillips by .011, but got him back on Sunday, beating him by an even closer .001 margin in the second round. I lost third round on Sunday by another close one, .005 seconds.

This concludes the 2010 racing season for Duck Tape Racing, which encompassed a record 80 races in 12 different states, with 19 final rounds, the IHRA Division 2 Stock Championship, 2 Shootout titles, numerous awards, frequent magazine exposure, and four television appearances! I'd like to extend a very sincere thank you to each and every one of you, who have made this career season a possibility! Just think... in two (very short!) months, the tires will be turning again, in Palm Beach, Florida!
